Esta cantante britanica edito un solo disco en 1970 (del que apenas se vendieron copias antes de su reedición en el 2002) antes de retirarse del circuito músical y se puede considerar la abuela musical de la actual generación folk compuesta por Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Vetiver … gracias al apoyo de los cuales Vashti grabó otro gran disco en el 2005 “Lookaftering”.
